Call 772-207-1534Book OnlineMedical emergencies don’t wait for business hours. When a parent is in the hospital, or a loved one can no longer leave home, important documents like healthcare surrogates, powers of attorney and wills often need to be signed quickly. I come to the bedside so your family doesn’t have to move the person who’s signing.
I’m patient, discreet, and used to working around nurses, therapy schedules and family members on speakerphone. Before every signing I confirm that the signer is alert, understands what they are signing, and is signing willingly. That protects them, and it protects your documents.
Documents I notarize at the bedside
Healthcare surrogate & living will
Advance directives that let a trusted person make medical decisions if the signer cannot.
Power of Attorney
Durable POA for finances, property and benefits, commonly needed during a hospital stay.
Wills & trusts
Execution of wills, trusts and amendments, with witnesses available when booked ahead.
Real estate & deeds
Deeds, quitclaims and sale documents when a property needs to be handled during a health crisis.
Insurance & benefits forms
Affidavits, beneficiary forms and other paperwork requiring a notary.
Homebound visits
Same service at private homes for seniors and anyone who cannot easily travel.
How it works
- Call with the facility name, room number if known, the signer’s name and the document type.
- I confirm the signer has a valid ID and is able to communicate and understand the document.
- Documents must be fully prepared before I arrive. I can’t draft them or give legal advice.
- I meet you at the bedside, verify identity and willingness, and notarize. Witnesses can be provided when requested in advance.
Service area: Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, Stuart, Palm City, Jensen Beach, Hobe Sound, Vero Beach and all of St. Lucie, Martin and Indian River counties.
Frequently asked questions
Which hospitals and facilities do you serve?
Hospitals across St. Lucie, Martin and Indian River counties, including the Port St. Lucie, Tradition, Fort Pierce, Stuart and Vero Beach hospitals, plus nursing homes, ALFs, rehab centers, hospice and private homes.
What if the signer’s ID is expired or missing?
Florida generally requires a current ID, or one issued within the past five years. If ID is a problem, call me first. Florida also allows identification by credible witnesses in some cases, and we can talk through options.
Can you notarize if my parent is very ill or sedated?
Only if the signer is alert, understands the document and signs willingly. If they can’t, I will not notarize, which protects them and your family.
Do you provide witnesses?
Yes. Wills and some other documents need two witnesses. Ask when booking and I’ll bring them.
Do you come at night or on weekends?
Yes, evening and weekend bedside visits are available.
